Jon + Lynsey are such a stunning couple! We always have so much fun photographing our couples and it’s almost like they don’t even realize we are photographing them! Seriously, these two must have practiced posing before their photoshoot! We joked with them because they were so natural and really enjoyed having their pictures taken!
We started their engagement session around the Devon Tower area in Bricktown, Oklahoma City. We just love the modern clean lines of the city with just enough trees and greenery to be warm and inviting!
Jon and Lynsey had request a few night photos (We always love it when our couples request night photos!) and what better place to go than the Skydance Bridge! If you haven’t been there it’s a pretty cool view of the downtown cityscape! The sky was so perfect we had just enough time to catch the breathtaking sunset! We then concluded the night with J+L and a romantic embrace with the silhouette of the Oklahoma City Skyline!
We love hearing the story of how our couples met and their proposal! Here is their story told by Lynsey…
We met on a 4th of July trip to Lake Murray. We share a mutual friend that had invited us both to go out on their boat. We had no idea that the other was going to be there or even existed before that day...they said after the fact, that was their plan all along.
Jon proposed on our first family vacation in Crested Butte, Colorado. He waited until the last night we were there. We had explored the town all day long, then gone to eat sushi for dinner & dessert later on at an Italian restaurant. I just thought it was another perfect day! But I had no idea that all day long he had been carrying around a ring, waiting for the right time to ask me. When we got home that night, he proposed outside. It was so unexpected, exciting, & perfect! When we went into the house, we were greeted by our three boys who started clapping and yelling when we announced the big news to them! It was the cutest thing ever! Then all three of them ran as fast as they could up the stairs to tell Nana that we were getting married & they were all going to be brothers for real!!!
